The technique of interior design does not simply mean the designing of an ordinary interior space. To me, as a designer, it means to use creativity and innovative knowledge to create a space that is unlike any other. Incorporating pattern and color, various textures like wood or metal, along with cohesive furniture, lighting and decor. Interior design is not only a career, but a passion. If there is no passion behind a design, then the design will not be successful. Thinking outside the box is important to keep in mind, especially to distinguish that space apart from anything else seen before. Using the skills learned throughout my educational career at Cazenovia College, my designs are based off knowledge and inspirations that highlight my abilities and ingenuity, which set myself apart from others in the field.
